Welcome to AASHRAYA

AASHRAYA is the convening agency on secular, non-political, non-profit making organization formed way back in 2000 by a group of social crusaders who had a commitment for working with rural poor, youth, women, children and deprived section of the society.

AASHRAYA has resolved to increase and develop the traditional living standards of the targeted beneficiaries with the help of introducing innovative Programmes, Network & Activities on the basic aspect of Health, Drinking water, personal, Migrant Labour, Child Labour, Environment, Cultural Programme, Disability Programme and sanitation initiatives following right based approach and proper lobby & advocacy.

Legal Status

  • Registered under Indian Society Registration ACT XXI of 1860 in the year of 2000-2001.
  • Registered under Ministry of Home Affairs Govt. of India under foreign currency regulation Act in the year of 2013-14
  • Registered under PWD Act No-1 of 1996
  • The organization has its own PAN & TAN
  • The organization has also been registered under Income Tax section 12 AA & 80 G.
  • The organization has affiliated by All India Cricket Association for physically challenged, Mumbai

Mission

AASHRAYA strives to dispel all stars of deprivation and discrimination and aloofness and to diamante the dependency syndrome. It also inculcates the spirit of self-help reliance. So little is done but so much is to be done. Aashraya has miles to go to achieve its cherished mission.

Objectives

To translate our goal into reality creation objectives has been spelt out by Aashraya in the memorandum of Association and maximum efforts have been taken to bring out these object in to reality the main object of the organization is to given from and compulsory education to the children below fourteen years. Provide assistance to weak section especially the disadvantaged, orphans, disable, women, children, marginal and small labour, work for water sanitation in the rural area, STs, SCs, OBCs minor community to carry out development activities in socio economics education and agricultural field for the welfare of the society.

Area of Operation

At present Aashraya is working in Khurda, Puri, Cuttack and Ganjam district in Odisha. The organization is active in about 91 villages spread over ten CD Blocks more than 14,000 people benefit directly or indirectly from the programmes of Aashraya.
